Laxman's Family against Rakhi Sawant

The host of the reality show Rakhi ka Insaaf, bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant is in news again after Laxman Prasad, a guest to Rakhi's show, decide to end his life after allegedly insulted on her television show. Prem Nagar station in Jhansi has registered a case against Rakhi Sawant.


Rakhi has now being accused by Laxman's family of being responsible for his death. They have charged the Bollywood actress of using indecent words against the man and calling him 'napunsak" that is impotentand "namard" that is unmanly on the show. According to the family of the man, Raki Sawant had insulted him so much instead of giving him solutions to the man's marital discord that became impossible for him to move out.

Thereafter, Laxman was being frustrated, stop eating and eventually died on November 10. UP Police DGP Brijlal has said that Rakhi and others have been charged under sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and 120 (concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) of the Indian Penal Code. Rakhi might also be arrested if she does not seek anticipatory bail, according to reports.

Rakhi Ka Insaaf participant commits suicide

Bollywood’s hot actress Rakhi Sawant is on the lime light again and looks like she will be in the next few weeks. Not on Bollywood but on Bombay High Court. It was not long since Imagine TV started to air Rakhi Ka Insaaf which is hosted by Rakhi herself.


But early as now, the television show has started garnering complaints about Rakhi not being able to host it the right way. Rakhi was supposed to be solving problems of the common man in this show. But according to some complaints, her words are sometimes harsh that it tends to make more complication on the issues she tackles on the show rather than solve them. Complaints started when Laxman Prasad, a guest to Rakhi Ka Insaaf committed suicide after he was harassed by Rakhi with some lewd comments.

Rakhi was supposed to give a solution to Laxman’s marital problems on live television. But instead of proposing a solution, Rakhi gave lewd comments to Laxman. This caused Laxman to be in a state of great depression which eventually caused his death. Now, Laxman’s family blames Rakhi for his death. In response to this as well, a lawyer filed a complaint against Rakhi at the Bombay High Court and Laxman’s family says on television that they will not spare the person that killed their Laxman through insults over national television- Rakhi Sawant. She will be held responsible for the death of Laxman who could have not died if he was not insulted by the TV host. The show Rakhi Ka Insaaf has been moved from 5:00pm time slot to 11:00pm as according to authorities, it is not appropriate for family viewing. There had also been proposals raised about Rakhi being arrested as she is obviously responsible for Laxman’s death. For Rakhi’s fans, the question goes; Will she still be as hot behind bars?

No relief to Rakhi

The host of the reality show Rakhi ka Insaaf, which airs on NDTV Imagine, Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant retreated her plea seeking to quash an FIR against her for allegedly abetting suicide of a contestant of the show.


The lawyer of Rakhi Sawant and other four media personalities, Satish Maneshinde on November 18 withdrew the petition claiming that he would ask the court for taking essential recourse under law. 25-year-old Laxman Singh Aharwar, who came on the show to solve his marital problems, was unable to bear the humiliation flooded on him in the show and he committed suicide. On Rakhi Sawant’s application to squash her earlier plea, the court stated that a famous personality or not, it doesn’t make any difference to the court.

Rakhi in trouble

High drama is business as usual. The statement carries on well for Bollywood drama queen Rakhi Sawant. Rakhi Sawant continues to make headlines all for the wrong reasons. According to the fresh reports, the Bhartiya Kisan Union has demanded that Rakhi Sawant should be arrested for being responsible in the recent suicide case of a young man named Laxman who appeared on her reality show Rakhi Ka Insaaf.


Laxman allegedly went into depression after being humiliated on the show by Rakhi Sawant. He stopped eating and was admitted to hospital in Jhansi. He died on November 11, 2010.

Rakhi met Rinky

Bollywood drama queen Rakhi Sawant aver that she met model Rinky Alias Priyanshi Choudhury just few days before her death that is being explored as a alleged suicide case. Rakhi Sawant also asserted that she have a message for young girls that don’t get possessive about your boyfriends. Rakhi was too sad to know that the model killed herself.

Rakhi Sawant had worked with Rinky in Priyadarshan’s film Malaamal Weekly. The model was found hanging from the ceiling at her home in Goregaon on October 28, after supposedly receiving calls from her boyfriend Sahil Malik’s ex-girlfriend. Sahil was arrested two days later and is being cross-examined.. Rakhi Sawant was also in a phase of bad relationships. First, she dated Abhishek Awasthi and later got engaged to Elesh Parujanwala on the reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar. But Rakhi decided to move on in life leaving her past far behind. Rakhi concluded by saying that she has one life and wants to live it well. Rather than wasting her time in chasing boys. Good going Rakhi..

Rakhi says SRK is vulgar

The drama queen Rakhi Sawant is again in the limelight for her controversial one-liners. This time the item girl has taken a plow at none other than Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan respectively. Known for her over-the-top theatrics on and off air, Rakhi Sawant is annoyed with the 'drama queen' tag now.


On being asked about the same, Rakhi Sawant told that people call her melodramatic... but she claimed that she saw Shahrukh Khan doing such vulgar stuff at award functions. On the other side Rakhi had no worries pointing fingers at Shahrukh Khan. She futher stated that SRK talks vulgar, double-meaning dialogues. He is educated but the actress feels that these actors are nothing infront of her. Rakhi Sawant went to add fuel to fire by saying when Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh have their movies up for release, they just don’t bother to pull each others legs.

Rakhi Ka Insaaf in trouble

One of the lawyer filed PIL, claiming that reality show Rakhi Ka Insaaf should be banned as it insults the judiciary. The reality show Rakhi Ka Insaaf, which is hosted by Rakhi Sawant is a pop court show on television that may soon have to appear in court. The show that airs on Imagine TV respectively, has run into mess after a city-based lawyer approached the Bombay High Court and filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) pleading that the show be debarred.


The PIL was filed on October 21,2010. On the other hand, the PIL is likely to come up for hearing within a couple of weeks.
