Rakhi again in limelight

The item girl who is well known for her drama and has been stayed in controversies. Rakhi Sawant has hitted the nest again. Not long after the drama queen was in the limelight for forcing a young man to suicide after she called him impotent, the actress has blamed to molest a Delhi-based guru, Swami Arvind, giving him a panic attack that made him reached to hospital.

The two were part of a reality show on India TV Bigg Toss somewhere based on Bigg Boss, which makes contestants stay together in a villa in Noida. One of the contestants said that he have left the show because Rakhi Sawant, whom he treated like his daughter, sat on his lap and made her do a close dance with her.However, the actress was asked not do such an act but she did not listen and humiliated him in front of the audiences. The man was shocked to see a woman molesting a man like this.Rakhi Sawant, however, denies the allegations filed against her.

The actress however stated that by accusing her of molesting him, she said that the man is only gathering mileage shooting gun from her shoulder. Rakhi Sawant also said that if someone get linked with her, he will surely get popular without making any efforts. Rakhi also told that he was not fit for the show.Bursted out with anger, the item girl asserted that she have taken off the mask that fraudulent man was wearing. Some are sure that it’s just another publicity strategy.It’s a new show and it’s none other than Rakhi Sawant, so it’s obviously all a pre-planned drama. Rakhi Sawant can cross any limit to become the centre of attraction. But if the priest is indeed in hospital, than something is fishy for sure!!!

It’s Swayamwar season

Looking her best every day, communicating with guys she have never met before and researching out which one of the men she was going to marry. When the bold item girl Rakhi Sawant announced her ‘Swayamwar' on television, in the starting the reaction of the Indian viewers was shock.


But during the show, Rakhi announced that she would be marrying Elesh Parujanwala who was a businessman who lived in Canada. And soon enough, everyone wanted to be part of the first TV Indian wedding. It is known to the whole world that although Rakhi never got married to Elesh Parujanwala, even then she appeared on NDTV Imagine's another reality show Pati, Patni aur Who with Elesh. While after Rakhi, many actors wanted to plan their wedding on small screen and the next to step into Rakhi Sawant’s shoes was none other than Rahul Mahajan, who got married to Dimpy Ganguly, in Swayamwar Season 2.

This time, Ratan Rajput, more famously known as Laali is on for the hunt for a perfect guy in her life. So if you have reached the exact age to get married than straight away approach to the TV.

Rakhi-Veena together

Pakistani actress Veena Malik and India’s princess Rakhi Sawant arrived at Indira Gandhi International airport few days ago to participate in India TV's unique World Cup Reality Show, Bigg Toss. Veena Malik said that she looked forward to do some exciting during the India TV reality show titled Bigg Toss, to be telecast daily from 8 pm to 9 pm prime time from February 17th.

Rakhi Sawant said that Team India will win the World Cup this time for sure. Asked about his favourite Team India player, Rakhi Sawant took the name of Yusuf Pathan. The item girl also mentioned that if Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni are the big names of cricket, then Rakhi is the big girl of Bigg Toss. The telecast dates for Bigg Toss have been scheduled for Team India's matches. Followed by episodes on 19th Feb, 27th Feb, 6th Mar, 9th Mar, 12th Mar, 20th Mar, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Final respectively.

Allahabad stayed proceedings against Rakhi

The Allahabad High court on Monday stayed the further proceedings in a criminal case against the item girl Rakhi Sawant against whom a criminal complaint was filed and she was call upon by a local court in Muzaffarnagar. The complainant, Narendra Singh has filed a criminal complaint against Rakhi Sawant

before the Additional CJM Court, Muzaffarnagar under sections 500, 509, 120-B, 420 of the IPC claiming that in the reality show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ which she hosted had telecasted that his wife was married to another man Deo Bhardwaj. As speculated, the episode had insulted him in the society. The court therefore had summoned Rakhi. Rakhi Sawant has filed a criminal revision in the Allahabad High Court. We just hope that soon the actress would get the clean chit in the case!!!

The battle has started

Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant remained in controversies for the incident that happened long back at Mika Singh’s birthday bash. Now it all began with the sizzling diva Kangana Ranaut’s forthcoming flick ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ where the Punjabi singer Mika Singh has sung a peppy track titled ‘Jugni’.


The song has recently shot on the movie’s lead pair Kangana and Madhavan with Mika joining in for shaking legs together. It was here that the director Anand L Rai came up with the idea of making Mika kiss Kangana Ranaut as soon as the song ends, just the way the pop singer kissed with the item girl Rakhi Sawant. However, Kangana refused to do so and said that she’s not Rakhi Sawant to do something like this!! Well, Rakhi, was all too glad as the comment slipped out of Kangana’s mouth. But Rakhi all furious shooted back at Kangana Ranaut stating that how dare Kangana do her publicity stunt, firing from her pretty shoulder. Rakhi also stated that Mika had forcibly kissed her. Well, all we can say that the war has begun!!!

SRK fails to imitate Rakhi’s success

A Bollywood actress once mentioned that actor Shahrukh Khan on small screen couldn't attract audiences that item girl Rakhi Sawant managed to collect during her Swayamvar on channel Imagine. The SRK hosted reality show, Zor Ka Jhatka – Total Wipeout, on Imagine TV was aired on 1 February, 2011.


Produced by Endemol India. However, Zor Ka Jhataka, scored well below Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, which opened with good respose in its starting week. A sneak peak into the other Hindi entertainment channels: Colors added 26 GRPs to end the week with 265 GRPs. Another famous channel that gathers lots of TRP, Star Plus lost 11 GRPs in the week to end at 327 GRPs.Sony Entertainment was the biggest loser in the week. It dropped around 24 GRPs, to collect 154 GRPs. The sister channel 'Sab', the family comedy channel, added 14 GRPs, came up with a new launch of th serial 'Mrs Tendulkar'. We can say that the drama queen Rakhi Sawant has won the battle.

Rakhi feels relaxed

The item girl has been forgiven of the case of suicide charge by the police where a man died after participating in her reality show, Rakhi Ka Insaaf. The case was lodged against Rakhi Sawant and others on November 12, 2010 after the mother of the youth, Laxman, claimed that he was insulted on the show and died due to depression. The police, however, has stated that Laxman died of natural causes and not because coming on the reality show.

Born on 25th November, 1978, Rakhi formerly dated Abhishek Avasthi with whom she participated in the dance show Nach Baliye 3 . In 2009, Rakhi Sawant launched her reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar in which she planned to select her husband. In 2010, Rakhi's other reality show named ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’ aired on Imagine TV from 16 October, where she played the judge.
