It was Christmas day and by afternoon in Mumbai most of the shoppers had finished shopping for the festival. But our dearest Rakhi who flaunted in her own style was spotted walking down the streets dressed in casual chic that perfectly matched to her attitude.

Rakhi was spotted wearing decent western clothes and a Santa cap. The cute girl entered a shop which sells lifestyle products, clothes and all other accessories. For Christmas eve we hope that she had shopped for more sensible stuff and must have looked presentable! Keep it up, Rakhi......

Rakhi has found Jesus

Recently, Rakhi Sawant has been heard saying 'O Jejuz' on her television shows. It’s because she has been claiming on her shows that she has found Jesus. Rakhi Sawant has even been attending services at an Andheri church in Mumbai. Because of Rakhi's new interest in the religion, organisers of Mumbai’s biggest Christmas gathering have invited the lady to read from the Bible.

However Rakhi was not available for comment. But Dr Abraham Mathai, vice-chairman of the State Minorities Commission stated that when they came to know that Rakhi Sawant has been attending church services and has also declared on various TV shows that she loves Jesus, Abraham Mathai have invited her to read a few scriptures from the Bible.

Rakhi to find her new love

Rakhi Sawant the item girl left the whole world shocked when she decided to find a suitable life partner for herself through the reality show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar' that aired on NDTV Imagine.

The reality show brought unprecedented TRPs for the channel, but Rakhi Sawant failed to sustain her engagement to Toronto-based businessman Elesh Parujanwala, whom she found through the show.

Rakhi to read from Bible

Christmas is approaching and staunch Christian actress Rakhi Sawant is geared up for the joy of festive season. As per the reports she has been asked by organizers of Mumbai’s biggest Christmas gathering to read a few verses from the Bible on Christmas.

The actress has also started attending church services. But she is yet to confirm that whether she will be reading from the Holy Scriptures on the Christmas day or not?

Sometime back the news was that she is turning television producer for a TV serial titled 'The Holy Bible'. Also she will play the role of Mother Mary in the show. She says, "Jesus Christ has changed my life and I want to spread his message."

Rakhi’s album launch

Item girl Rakhi Sawant launched her album 'Jhagde' with its lead singer Ishq Bector. The rocking musical event took place at Juhu.

The chief guest for the evening was comedian Johnny Lever. He entertained the crowd there. The music video was flashed on a life size screen which everyone enjoyed. After that Ishq and Rakhi gave a live performance as well.

Elesh feeling cheated

"For me, it was reality and for her, it was a show” says Elesh Parujanwala for actress Rakhi Sawant. Elesh has now broken silence about her fiancée Rakhi Sawant. Recently he has told the media person that - She (Rakhi Sawant) just said I am too good for her and I should find someone better.

Elesh had got engaged to item girl Rakhi Sawant on the reality show ‘Rakhi ka Swayamvar’ in August. Their relationship started souring up as Elesh came to know about Sawant's antics. Rakhi had called him a “firangi” and an “uncultured man”, on national television.

“She should not judge me on my upbringing. Our relationship has become a huge drama. Ever since we’ve been together, she has tried her best to get rid of me,” says Elesh. “She saw this relationship as a big boost for her career. I became a scapegoat. I invested everything I had in this relationship and I was shattered when it ended,” he says.

The final breaking came in their relationship when two found it impossible to get along while performing tasks on the TV show, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. That’s when Sawant called off the engagement.

Elesh is feeling cheated with Rakhi’s behaviour.

Eviction of Rakhi’s mother

The news that Rakhi's mother was on the show Bigg Boss 3 had not even faded away, before that only her mother was evicted from the show. On public voting (desh ke adesh) Jaya Sawant, mother of Rakhi Sawant, was eliminated from the show on receiving the least votes in comparison to other two nominations Kamal R Khan (KRK) and Sherlyn Chopra (Mona Chopra).

Her mother Jaya had said that she had come on the show to make peace with her daughter but somehow she didn't get much time in the house. She was the oldest participant and tried her best by dancing and singing.

But Jaya Sawant is after all mother of Rakhi Sawant therefore her exit too was as spectacular as her entry. She had shown disappointment and shed silent tears. Comedian Raju Srivastav had touched her feet and she had blessed him and hugged some of the other contestants. Also she had ordered Rohit Verma to wear simple clothes and no make up for a span of one week.

Rakhi faces suit

Suit has been filed against hot actress Rakhi Sawant on charges of duping a local shopkeeper Jatin Sharma, 24 residing in Amritsar. According to him Rakhi had not only broken his heart but "made a mockery of his sentiments."

It started like this. With the inspiration of recent reality show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar', Jatin made every effort to win the heart of Rakhi. On learning the story of Jatin, Rakhi invited him personally to participate in the show, but could not arrange anything for him. She didn’t even bother to meet him also. Later on she regretted through emails and SMS. “To assuage my feelings, she promised to visit me in Amritsar, twice, but didn’t turn up. And while breaking the last promise in August this year, she rendered me poorer by lakhs of rupees as I had booked a palace, music group, decorations and eatables,” said Jatin.

Rakhi herself was unavailable for comments. Criminal suit has been filed for hurting Jatin's sentiments, misleading and duping him, also, a civil suit has been filed for recovery of Rs 5 lakh that Jatin incurred in making arrangements for her visit.

Rakhi's comic element

On the reel life Rakhi is famous for 'trying too hard to be sexy' but on the same lines she's got a comic element too. Her chase for Rani Mukherji in the item song of 'Dil Bole Hadippa', her chat show 'The Rakhi Sawant show' and her participation in many other shows has been funny for the viewers.

Earlier she had fun with the popular song 'girls just wanna have fun', and then she was comic in her item-cum funny song for Yash raj film 'Dil Bole Hadippa' as in the song she tries to woo Rani who is in disguise of a sardar boy. Rakhi's drama never goes unnoticed. And this time they had to bear the wrath of angry parents of Kubair because of their acts on NDTV Imagine's reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'. Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala got intimate in front of their pre-teen kid Kubair which angered his parents.

It happened like this. Rakhi and Elesh had a heated arguement on some issue, and it got so worse that they even decided to part away. But suddenly things changed and within some time they started coochy-cooing with each other in front of Kubair. Kubair's parents strongly objected to their public display of affection. They expressed their displeasure over their irresponsible behavior.

But it is very easy for Rakhi to tackle controversies as she put the whole blame on Elesh. Says a source, “It was hilarious to see Rakhi smoothly slipping the noose over Elesh instead! She blamed him for getting naughty with her. What's more she also said she was just being a dutiful Indian girl who goes by every single wish of her betrothed!”

It’s becoming difficult

On the show ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ life is becoming difficult day by day for Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala. Taking care of kids is not so easy and now teen ‘Sakshi’ has entered their house.

Eighteen year old Sakshi belongs to Delhi and is an absolute brat who's difficult to deal with. As soon as she has entered the house she has begin her tomfoolery. In the absence of Rakhi and Elesh, she tries out things so that she could abandon the house rules. She hits the kitchen and throws fruits. She throws out the battery of TV remote control. And crossing the limits she enters Rakhi’s room, and throws out her clothes out of the closet and arranges her own clothes.

What was the shock that this time short tempered Rakhi kept her cool, but Elesh reacted out of his mind. After heated arguements Elesh packed Sakshi’s clothes and threw her bag asking her to leave the house that very moment.

The big news is that Rahul Mahajan has been successful in gaining more popularity than Rakhi Sawant, as he received 40 per cent more entries than Rakhi Sawant's show. As per the reports Rahul Mahajan, son of slain Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan, has decided to come up with a reality show called ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’ for which he has got more entries than ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’.

‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’ is on the same lines as ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’ with which Rahul will search a life partner. Says Rahul, “I am happy with the response and I'm looking forward to finding my life partner with whom I can begin a new journey.”

With the help of her show Rakhi found Elesh Parujanwala with whom she exchanged rings. Although she had promised to get married but she ended up for just an engagement. Lets us wait for ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’ season two.

Elesh hurt by Rakhi

Elesh Parujanwala is hurt with Rakhi Sawant's attitude. After they got engaged on ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’, Rakhi has continuously taking digs on him on small and big matters. In a fit of burst, for the first time the Canadian NRI has broken his silence and said that he is deeply hurt.




He claims that his once bride-to-be Rakhi is unable to separate reel life from real. She has tried to malign image of Elesh in front of media. He said, “I tried my best to understand Rakhi and make the relationship work but failed. I tried to know her past and adjust with her lifestyle but there was no cooperation from her side.”

Hold your breath to listen to the latest from hot star Rakhi Sawant. Her love for Christianity has taken her to the next level as she is turning television producer for a TV serial titled 'The Holy Bible'.




Not only this but also she will play the role of Mother Mary in the show. Also in her wish list of her character of Jesus are Salman, Hrithik, and Kunal Kapoor, but if she could not convince any one of them then she would cast a newcomer.

She says, “I want it (The Holy Bible) to be as comprehensive as shows that are based on the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Jesus Christ has changed my life and I want to spread his message."

She is occupied as far as the research work is concerned and also she plans to launch the production house by the year end too.

Rakhi on Pati Patni Aur Woh

Rakhi Sawant’s reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh that is aired on NDTV Imagine has earned the wrath of women and child development minister Krishna Tirath for child rights abuse after a Delhi-based NGO filed a complaint against the show.




The show treats children and toddlers in an inhuman manner. NDTV Imagine have received a notice from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) asking to stop the telecast of the show Pati Patni Aur Woh immediately.

The Indian version of the international show Baby Borrowers, has Rakhi Sawant and her boyfriend Elesh Parujanwala and four other celebrity couples playing parents to children as young as six months or less for a month.

The show depicts novice actors trying to pacify a crying toddler. Similar protests have led to the ban of Baby Borrowers in a number of countries, including the UK.
