Rakhi's rejection proves lucky for Manmohan!

Remember the thin, dark, flirtatious guy who was a strong contestant in Rakhi Sawant's, “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar”? Yes! We are talking about Manmohan Tiwari who participated in this show, basically, to step into the television acting world. And what a surprise! His dream has come true as he bags a new show on NDTV Imagine. The show is called Jamunia.


The contestant who earlier wanted to play the real-life role of “Dulha” for Rakhi, will now be playing the character of Awadh Thakur in reel-life. This serial called Jamunia will be on air from March 8. Beyond Dreams Entertainment Limited is the production house behind this serial which is produced by Yash Patnaik. Jamunia is a story of an orphan girl which shows that how much a girl power can work when there are adverse conditions. It shows the limit of female's strength and love for her family.


Only the time will tell that how Manmohan acts and reacts on Television. As far as Rakhi's swayamwar is concerned, well, it has helped this rejected “var” to get selected for a great show on a great channel.

Rakhi's Eight-Eggs Omelette n Aerobics with Jesus!

Rakhi Sawant, the famous item girl of Bollywood has suddenly changed her diet plans. She says she has done a lot of compromises for her size-zero figure but now she will not continue with that. Want to know about her breakfast? Well, from now on she will be having a heavy breakfast with an eight-eggs omelette, brown bread etc.Ooolala! Eight eggs? She is also determined to go to the Church on every Sunday morning. According to her, the visit to a church will be like doing aerobics with Jesus.



Rakhi also plans for a four-hours workout which will be including power yoga along with certain gym exercises. She doesn't believe in the fat-burning capsules as they can be risky. The most interesting fact that came from Rakhi this times is that she watches all kind of movies except the vulgar and horror ones. She supports this by saying that Bible does not grant the permission for such acts. Wow Ms or Mrs (after your much-hyped “ Rakhi Ka Swaymwar”) Rakhi! Bible stops you from watching vulgar movies but it doesn't stop you from being in the vulgarity yourself? Huh!


According to Rakhi, she also doesn't go to any parties or clubs as they may give her bad habits, bad environment and bad company. And Rakhi does not want to be called Bad Woman, just like Bad Man (of course,Gulshan Grover). She loves to have a lot of popcorn while watching the movies in theatre. During her confusing times, she is supported and advised by her friends and God.

Rakhi Sawant's Studio named RS Studio

From item numbers to Swayamvar,Rakhi Sawant has gathered enough wealth to become an entrepreneur. She definitely wants to flourish and has recently purchased a 3000 square feet land in Andheri to build her own studio wherein she would produce her shows.The production house will be named RS and will have the equipments used in foreign countries.



Besides this,she has opened a spa at Oshiwara.

When asked why she suddenly wants to venture into business,she replies saying that she comes from a family that has struggled a lot and are not ambitious.However she always wanted to become something and became famous.Besides owning a business was a long yearned dream which has finally took shape.

She also states that choosing to open a Spa was because they are the in thing today since everyone wants to look good and take care of their health and skin.

"We can motivate housewives and working women also to take care of their health skin and hair too.” said Rakhi

Rakhi Sawant turns entrepreneur,launches cosmetic product

After the whole issue about the item girl going on strike,Rakhi Sawant is now focussing on her business plans rather than fighting with the Censor Board.She will launch a product which she claims to slow down ageing.She also said that nobody would have to resort to Botox injections once they use this product.Moreover in her signature style,she adds that she does not endorse products like other celebrities who do not use those products.

Her cosmetic endorsement is not the only thing the item girl turned entrepreneur is doing.Rakhi has also opened up a spa and a recording studio.She also is planning to start a TV show based on Bible.The show will be unlike what people have usually seen is something that she claims.

“I was going to play Mother Mary but my pastors advised me to play Mary Magdalene instead. ” was another shocking statement made by Sawant on which a lot questions were raised as well but the bindaas girl replies to the media saying that if someone reads the Bible,it preaches you to do whatever you want to but with complete energy.Someone's purity or impurity should not be measured by their clothes.

She is auditioning actors for the part of Jesus Christ.Rakhi tells the media that she is looking for men without six pack abs.

Rakhi Sawant has turned preachy. She was heard boasting that she not like the people in the industry who never use the products they endorse. According to her she cannot fool the people for money because her Jesus wont let her.

Rakhi has turned into quite an entrepreneur. Apart from opening a spa and recording studio she is going set to start her serial on the Bible. On the advice of her Pastors she is all set to play Mary Magdalene. And that is not all she also plans to make a serial on Moses and Noah. She goes on to say that Jesus has given her this responsibility. Right now she is auditioning new boys for the role of Jesus Christ because she needs someone who is innocent and doesn’t have six packs.

Rakhi influences Priyanka

Rakhi Sawant simply refuses to give up her claim to the airtime or column space. If some one was to measure the number of times a person is talked about in the media, Rakhi Sawant is bound to win hands down. Rakhi has recently threatened the censor board and created a hell of a drama. But apart from that her swayamvar act has inspired many.

We are not talking about Rahul Mahajan alone. Apparently Priyanka Chopra too seems to have taken a leaf out of Rakhi's book and did her own short little swayamvar thing. While in New York shooting for Anjaana Anjaani Priyanka was invited for a local beauty contest. At the event she called up three boys swayamvar style and made them propose to her. Though she didn't except any offers but she did manage to enjoy a lot! Well, we didn't know Ms Sawant was so 'influential'.

Bhook hartaal for Rakhi

Rakhi will wait for a week and after the week is over you can see the controversy queen on a bhook hartaal in front of the censor board office. In a typical Rakhi Sawant way she threatened that she would not do 'chamchagiri' of the censor board and has sent them a legal notice. She went on to say 'Mai ishwar ki beti hu' (I'm God's daughter).
Rakhi sawant has made it clear by stating examples like Dharmendra, Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminey, Choli ke peeche kya hai, etc that she wont take this lying down.

Rakhi also dragged the TV serials like 'Uttaran', 'Bairi Piya' and 'Bandini' where women are shown getting raped and forced to marry under-age men. She calls says that if all this is stopped on TV she will also not object. According to her the system of the country is corrupt where bribery works. She says that producers bribe to get their films passed but it wont work no more.
