Latest buzz is making round that the drama queen Rakhi Sawant has reportedly approached Imagine TV to find another groom for her. Is it another swayamvar that she's pointing at??? According to the reports, Rakhi Sawant has pitched a new concept that she wants to call as Rakhi Ki Shaadi!


The item girl on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar found the love of her life, Canadian businessman Elesh Parujarwala. But after a much-hyped grand engagement ceremony, things turned sour and the duo broke-up soon after.

Be it fake weddings, or just being herself on small screen, Rakhi Sawant surely knows how to keep herself in the limelight! great going Rakhi....

Rakhi Sawant to perform with Sushant

Small screen actor Sushant Singh Rajput, very well known as Manav of the daily soap Pavitra Rishta is all set to perform with item girl Rakhi Sawant on dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. In the episode, the duo will perform on the songs O Mere Khuda and Aa Khushi Se Khudkhushi Karle in the Khallas round of the reality show.


After the performance, Sushant Singh Rajput claimed that he was keen to perform with Rakhi Sawant ever since he saw her Pardesia music video. Rakhi Sawant also said that both of them have bonded well with this performance.

Rakhi’s age goes Public !!

From the reliable sources, after performance for the Khalla round VJ Mantra and Jennifer Winget had asked about the performance and Sushant said when he was in school from that time he wants to dance with Rakhi Sawant. It was a clear indication of giving Rakhi’s age to the public. But, Rakhi said it was a good experience to dance with Sushant.

It was said that Rakhi Sawant went channel to channel to promote her film Buddha Mar Gaya. It was heard that the item girl wore her own clothes in the movie. The biggest problem that was raised on the sets was that she began demanding money for it.


It was said that during the trials Rakhi Sawant complained about the outfits being ill-fitting and refused to wear them. At the same time she hinted that the producer would have to pay for the attires.

Rakhi Sawant goes political

When the dance numbers and reality shows dried up, Item girl Rakhi Sawant decided to swap her skimpy stage attires for white khadi and enter politics. When it was reported that the foreign actors working in Bollywood, the Marathi actress Rakhi was one of the few public figures to give vocal support, to the MNS and said that because of these foreigners, the Indian girls remain jobless...


The move against foreign stars came after the MNS raided the sets of Abhishek Bachchan starrer film 'Crooked'.

When Rakhi accused Mika

Rakhi Sawant has always known how to step into controversies. Long back ago she has kissed, or rather been kissed her path into yet another controversy. Earlier when Rakhi Sawant accused famous pop singer Mika of molesting her at a private party in Mumbai.


In a police complaint, Rakhi Sawant also told that one of her friend was also assaulted by Mika's bodyguard.

Although, at that time Rakh Sawant was not available for any kind of comments, Daler Mehandi told that the two artistes should resolve their matter mutually. He also stated that they are all performers and artistes and they shouldn't go into public against each other.

Rakhi's bad experience

When Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala were seen together in a reality show Pati Patni Aur Woh that aired on NDTV Imagine, the item girl confessed that she felt quite scared of being a mother. She found it really disgusting to change the nappies of the child she had to take care of in the show.

For Rakhi Sawant to be a part of that reality show was a very bad experience. According to her there was no enjoyment on the show.

Rakhi also asserted that wedding was surely a long way, now they have already parted their ways. Rakhi used to miss the fun of receiving compliments for her dance with actress Rani Mukerji in Yash Raj Films' "Dil Bole Hadippa".

The other four celebrity couples who participated in the show were Shilpa Saklani-Apurva Agnihotri, Juhi Parmar-Sachin Shroff, Mouni Roy-Gaurav Chopra and Gurmeet Chaudhary-Debina Bonnerjee.

Rakhi Sawant is back on small screen again. Well, however, the reality shows usually features Rakhi Sawant and her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, but it looks same like what used to happen with Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha at award shows.

Few years back Rakhi Sawant decided to react in a serious manner as she decided to perform in saree for her stage show. But the buzz was that Rakhi Sawant was actually planning to embarass the authorities as she dropped her saree on the satge.


Performing the show at Nasik, Rakhi told that she wanted to teach a lesson to all those who think that the item girl can look good only in short and skimpy clothes. Rakhi wanted them to show that she can dance in saree as well.
