FIR to be filed against Rakhi, Rahul and others

A local court in Jaipur has ordered police to file an FIR against Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan and six others for supposedly threatening a man, who had claimed to have written the script of TV serial 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar'. The petitioner Gaurav Tiwari maintains that the script of the serial was originally penned down by him but the production house used it without his knowledge which was a desecration of Copyright Act.

Gaurav Tiwari said he has lodged an FIR in this concern only. Gaurav Tiwari has now appealed in the court that he was continuously getting threat calls from these celebrities asking him to withdraw the charges that he has put on them as soon as possible. Gaurav Tiwari approached the court of additional civil judge in Jaipur with his complaint on March 30, 2011 and the magistrate directed the SHO Shyam Nagar on April 2, 2011 to lodge the FIR against eight persons namely Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan, Fajila Allana, Sameer Nair, Chetanya Deewan, Hemawat Choudhary, Karan Singh, Jitendra Singh Rathore under various sections of IPC including section 386 (Extortion by putting a person in fear of death, 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation), 120 B (Punishment of criminal conspiracy).

Meanwhile Sub-Inspector Hari Singh, Shyam Nagar police station, Jaipur asserted that the court orders have been received at the police station and the FIR will be lodged soon. 'Rakhi ka swayamvar', a marriage-based television reality show, saw a month-long drama where the actress had to choose her groom from a number of participants and finally decided to marry Elesh, who was a businessman from Canada. But she even called off her relationship with him. Then Rakhi also came as the judge on another reality show Rakhi Ka Insaaf and sooner was seen on Comedy circus to flaunt heself. So, let’s see what will the court decide for these stars.
