Rakhi Sawant controversy on Nach Baliye 3...!!!!

The third season of STAR property 'Nach Baliye' was aired on TV in September 2007.The property, which was showcased on Star One earlier, has been taken on a higher platform to STAR PLUS. That time, the show brought in sets of stars from the small screen but also added participants from Bollywood.The 10 celebrity pairs of the competition were:

The channel, no doubt, had plans to make news with the inclusion of Rakhi Sawant as one of the participants.

Rakhi Sawant proved the speculations right by alleging the channel for cheating by filing a criminal complaint against them. All this happened, after she lost in the finals of reality show 'Nach Baliye 3'. Rakhi, who along with beau Abhishek Awasthi lost in the final round to TV actors Sanjida Sheikh and Amir Ali, alleged in her complaint filed in the Oshiwara police station that the channel deliberately prevented her from winning the contest.

But Star Plus has rejected charges of manipulation by Rakhi and dismissed it as her publicity stunt. General Manager, Star Plus, Ketan Adyanath gave the statement that,"For us, the show was over on Saturday night. But it seems she wants to continue the show for gaining more publicity. It is a known fact that these artists make a lot of money through public performances. So more the publicity, better it is for them."

On the allegation of a faulty audience poll system, Adyanath said every time only the losing contestants complain. Nothing came out of it except publicity and that too for free.
