SRK fails to imitate Rakhi’s success

A Bollywood actress once mentioned that actor Shahrukh Khan on small screen couldn't attract audiences that item girl Rakhi Sawant managed to collect during her Swayamvar on channel Imagine. The SRK hosted reality show, Zor Ka Jhatka – Total Wipeout, on Imagine TV was aired on 1 February, 2011.


Produced by Endemol India. However, Zor Ka Jhataka, scored well below Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, which opened with good respose in its starting week. A sneak peak into the other Hindi entertainment channels: Colors added 26 GRPs to end the week with 265 GRPs. Another famous channel that gathers lots of TRP, Star Plus lost 11 GRPs in the week to end at 327 GRPs.Sony Entertainment was the biggest loser in the week. It dropped around 24 GRPs, to collect 154 GRPs. The sister channel 'Sab', the family comedy channel, added 14 GRPs, came up with a new launch of th serial 'Mrs Tendulkar'. We can say that the drama queen Rakhi Sawant has won the battle.
