Rakhi Sawant the short temper Bollywood actress and Elesh Parujanwala is perceived as cool dude. These days on a reality show Pati, Patni Aur Woh that aires on channel Colors, the couples have to undergo a lot of stress taking care of the kids and earning their livelihood.




With Rakhi and Elesh after handling toddlers to children of age group 8-10 now they have to mingle up with the teen agers. Sakshi Bhayana, aged 18 years, has come from Delhi, an absolute brat and is very difficult to deal with.

A fight also breaks out between the couple and their teen as the girl refuses to follow the house rules. When Sakshi was interviewed she said, "I knew my behavior would create a stir, but I never thought Elesh would lose his temper so badly, I though Rakhi’s temper would hit the ceiling."

For everyone it comes as a surprise that Elesh lost his cool so fast! Will Sakshi and Elesh make-up or will Sakshi leave the house? Let's wait and watch !!!!

Elesh hurt by Rakhi

Elesh Parujanwala is hurt with Rakhi Sawant's attitude. After they got engaged on ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’, Rakhi has continuously taking digs on him on small and big matters. In a fit of burst, for the first time the Canadian NRI has broken his silence and said that he is deeply hurt.




He claims that his once bride-to-be Rakhi is unable to separate reel life from real. She has tried to malign image of Elesh in front of media. He said, “I tried my best to understand Rakhi and make the relationship work but failed. I tried to know her past and adjust with her lifestyle but there was no cooperation from her side.”

Not only this he also said that it was his family's support with which he is not in depression otherwise anyone who tries to have relationship with Rakhi would go in depression. All this has happened while they are participating in reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'.

'Rakhi Sawant Kamasutra video'

Bollywood glamorous item girl turned TV Star, Rakhi Sawant is synonymous to controversies, and many a time for all the wrong reasons. The buzz again is not over her splitsville with Elesh Parujanwala but for a sordid Kamasutra video.




A Kamasutra video has hit the internet and the girl in the video resembles to Rakhi closely. Rakhi wants to become a producer

Bollywood's item girl, Rakhi Sawant who recently performed with Rani Mujherjee in Dil Bole Hadippa, has always been in controversies is planning for another controversy to come in her way. But for this time she has chosen some other way to be in the frame.




There is a buzz that Rakhi Sawant will soon be seen as a producer for a television serial. It’s also heard that the serial will be on the similar lines of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki which aired on Star Plus.

As we all know Rakhi is follower of Christianity and reads Bible her show can be titled as ‘The Holy Bible’. Another buzz is that her wish list of the actor includes B-town superstars like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hritik Roshan to act in her serial, though they will never accept the offer but still everyone has the right to dream.

Bollywood's top item girl Rakhi Sawant's wedding with Elesh Parjunwala is still on. Rakhi has told a friend there’s no marriage, that the NDTV’s Swayamvar where Rakhi Sawant apparently chose herself a bridegroom has turned out to be the Great Indian Farce. Recently Rakhi had performed a dance number in Rani Mukherjee and Shahid Kapur starrer film Dil Bole Hadippa!




Now NDTV channel is palnning to go ahead with Season 2 of Swayamvar. This time it's Rahul Mahajan looking for a bride as viewers again get taken for a ride.

First Rakhi Sawant, now Rahul Mahajan will apparently have a string of intended spouses lining up to marry a man whose wife accused him of spousal abuse. What's all this guys???

Rakhi would be a perfect mother

Soon Rakhi Sawant will be seen on the new reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'. Sources said that Rakhi went to US to do shopping for the children of the age group of six months to ten years. She bought cloths and gifts for the kids. ssIn the show Rakhi will be taking care of kids of different age groups at different stages of the show.



On the show with Rakhi, her canadian businessman Elesh will also have his great presence and four other celebrity couples will also be performing in the show who will also take care of the infants as well as adolescents.

The shooting of the show will be held in Goa and Rakhi went to Goa for the shooting with a luggage of 60 kgs with her. Obviously Rakhi alone was not able to manage the whole luggage so she divided the luggage and took her assistants to manage the whole stuff.


Let's see, Rakhi woould really be a perfect mother? Will she be able to manage with the kids? Will she be able to give a mother's concern to the children of different age group.

I don't trust Elesh, Rakhi says

Rakhi Sawant being an item girl and the original drama queen says that she doesn't trust Elesh, the canadian man. After the show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar on NDTV Imagine she has got the grand publicity and after a long search finally she made up her mind for Elesh. But in a bindaas chat with NT Rakhi the hot babe confirms that she will wait and watch before the ultimate call for the marriage.



“Elesh has nothing except his education. He told me that he wants to start his career in Mumbai so i agreed upon but later I came to know that Elesh is not as firm as he projected himself to be. He stays in a rented flat with his partner in Mumbai. And you can't accept me staying in a rented flat”, Rakhi says.

Tha item girl also confirmed that she would marry someone else if Elesh doesn't get settled down within one or two years. Rakhi is really very much concerned about her life partner as well as career. She finally chose Elesh to get married with so that she would not have to leave Mumbai as her career plays the most important role in her life.

So we will also have to wait and watch as the item girl says. Rakhi gets married with Elesh or someone else, it's a question mark ???

Rakhi Sawant in ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’

‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ is going to be released on 18 September,2009 . It is a presentation from the banner of “Yash Raj Films”. It is also the debut for Anurag Singh as a director. And most importantly it is the First time that Shahid Kapoor is pairing with Rani Mukherjee.




There are other names in the film one of them is Rakhi Sawant . After Rakhi ka Swayamvar it is going to be her first Big Screen presence. She is changing her role and look with the course of the time. All the followers would be interested to see her in this film and to what extent she has contributed in this movie.

Rakhi plays the role of Shanno Amritsari who is the desi bomb babe of the Jigri Yaar Dance Company. A dancing queen, she’s a dish who’s on everyone’s wish list.

Sona Heiden to follow Rakhi Sawant

Rakhi Sawant, Rambha and now Sona Heiden who surely knows how to stay in contoversy without doing any drama. This hot item girl of Kollywood is too going the Rakhi Sawant way. Recently Sona has been approached by a leading south Indian channel to do a Sona Ka Swayamwar just like Rakhi Ka Swayamvar that aired on NDTV Imagine and gained great popularity.





Sona says: “I have been approached to do a similar show on a Tamil channel. It sounds like lots of fun. Who knows I may do it.”

The hot actress of Kollywood is at the moment has five films in her hand in all south Indian languages and may also step into Bollywood soon. Rakhi Sawant will be doing a item number in Dil Bole Hadippa, a Rani Mukherjee and Shahid Kapoor starrer film.

Rakhi Ka Swayamvar Real or Unreal

Rakhi Ka Swayamwar achieved everything a television reality show would possibly do. It had high TRPs, huge controversy and add to it a spice called Rakhi Sawant it could not have been any bigger on the small screen.




Queries are being raised on whether the Rakhi's swayamwar was just another scripted reality shows aimed at garnering high TRP ratings and ample Ad revenue.

The script had it that Rakhi would not to tie knot with anyone at the end of the show and the winner would choose money over Rakhi with the item queen seeking public sympathy. All was going well till two contestants who left the show at different times revealed the plot. The producers wanting the show to look authentic came out with a unique solution of Rakhi getting engaged rather that tying the knot at the end.

Its just two weeks since the grand finale and Rakhi Sawant has already began raising doubts over her fiancée Elesh Parujanwala. First she skipped his sister's wedding and then questioned his loyalty citing his multiple affairs in the past. She also said that she and Elesh weren't made for each other. Hang on Rakhi this is the same person you were going gaga praising just about 10 days ago.

We don't know that what is happening is real or unreal and if Rakhi ever had plans to get married on the NDTV Imagine show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar and her raising doubts over Elesh is just another plot. They believe Rakhi and Elesh are heading for a high profile split which will save the face for Rakhi as well as NDTV Imagine.

Well with Rakhi Sawant on the show, all that happens is just so uncertain.

Rambha on Rakhi's footsteps

Bollywood and Tollywood actress Rambha manages to find a groom for herself of her liking just like Rakhi Sawant. Bollywood actress and 'item girl' Rakhi Sawant hosted a much-publicised swayamvar on a popular Hindi channel for some months through which she 'selected' her Dulaah.




Rambha's brother Vasu will be hosting the swayamwaram on a popular Tamil channel. Rambha, who is said to have already been on the groom-hunt for the past many years, is now all set to find her groom on small screen.

The television channel is planning to host the swayamvaram in the form of a mega-show. We can only hope and wish that Rambha turns out as successful as Rakhi in her groom-search! Rakhi Sawant will be seen in Dil Bole Haddipa performing an item number with Rani Mukherjee.

Rakhi Sawant will not invite her mother for her wedding

After getting engaged to NRI businessman Elesh Parunjwala, the outrageous, bold and outspoken girl Rakhi Sawant says she wants all her friends, including ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, to attend her wedding but will not invite her mother.

In a interview Rakhi said, "I completely forgive Abhishek Awasthi. I was very surprised to know that he showed up on Sunday for my scheduled wedding. Surprised and touched. If I knew, I'd have welcomed him. Yesterday, he was my boyfriend. Today, he's my friend."

Eliminated contestants from the Rakhi Ka Swayamvar reality show were among those who had showed up to wish the couple Sunday. But although a wedding was expected, Rakhi and Elesh only got engaged.

Rakhi alos stated that "I was all set to marry Elesh. But it was Elesh who said he wanted more time to get to know me. I'm very confident of him. But if he needs more time to get to know me, how can I force myself on him? I'm ready to wait as long as he wants." The couple are planning to go to Toronto together for the wedding of Elesh's sister.

Rakhi talks to Elesh's parents

Rakhi Sawant wanted to meet Elesh Parujanwala’s family after meeting the families of Kshitij Jain, Manmohan Tiwari and Manas katyal. Elesh Parujanwala is a businessman from Toronto, Canada.

Although Elesh's parents are basically from Gujarat, they stay in Toronto, Canada. So the crew of NDTV Imagine arranged to hold a tele-conference with his family from Mumbai.




Elesh took Rakhi Sawant to the room, where a video-conference with his parents was organised already. He introduced Rakhi to his parents.

Talking to Rakhi, Elesh's father assured her, "Rakhi, you can continue to work even after the marriage. For few days, you can work in India and another few days in Canada."

Then Elesh introduced Rakhi Sawant to his sister Brinda, who is a teacher by profession and get married soon, his grandmother Joker Ben and his friends Gaurav and Saheb.

At last, Elesh was very happy after getting positive response from his family and friends. Rakhi Sawant also enjoyed talking to them. He asked her whether she would marry him. She said, "Right from the beginning of Swayamwar, I've got positive opinion about you. I see my perfect husband in you. But you have to wait for little more time.”

Rakhi visits her Piya Ka Ghar

Manas Katyal, Chittiz Jain, Elesh Parujanwala and Manmohan Tiwari in the final race to win Rakhi’s heart. Rakhi visits their respective houses to get close to their family and friends. The countdown has finally begun...the journey that began with sixteen prospective grooms has now culminated to the final four.

All eyes are now stuked to the bride-to-be Rakhi Sawant, who will now set out on a journey to the hometowns of the final four grooms she has short-listed.

Rakhi Sawant’s voyage begins in New Delhi, where she spends some quality time with the families of Chittiz and Manas. After a hearty reception in New Delhi, Rakhi heads to Rishikesh, where the Tiwari family welcomes her.

The entire neighborhood was excited to catch a glimpse of the Tiwari family’s would-be Bahu, the bollywood star Rakhi Sawant. As Manmohan had promised her, he took Rakhi to visit his deity Ganga Maiyya, where they also performed an Aarti, one of the most auspicious and once in a lifetime moment.

As Elesh was new to Mumbai, Rakhi promised him that she would take him out instead. They went out for a movie, had fun at a gaming zone, and spent some romantic moments with each other at the beach.

Rakhi followed by Palak on New Show

Remember Rakhi Sawant and her antics in Big Boss some years back, how can one forget that...isn't it?

Well, Palak seems to be following the blunt tongue lady and Rakhi's footsteps in Sony Entertainment Television's new show, "Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao".

She was seen gossiping like Rakhi with co-contestant Fiza over Shweta Tiwari’s image and clothes in Bhojpuri films. Then she referred to Chetan Hansraj as a ‘saand (bull)’ while he was taking a shower.

Later, she was seen arguing with Akashh Segal to save her new found friend Fiza and broke down immediately after a heated argument to gain some sympathy! Is she the same boisterous Palak one saw on Roadies or is she trying to put on an act and play the sweet little girl.

Whatever it is, she feels that the best way to de-stress is dance by the river side and unwind. The viewers sure can be in for a surprise soon with Palak choosing to do a Bo Derek in a swim suit.

Rakhi has also made a comeback on TV with a new show on NDTV.

Rakhi will look like a princess

Rakhi Sawant has expressed her desire to look like a princess and have a ragnd wedding like that of Aishwarya Rai on her wedding at the grand finale of Rakhi Ka Swyamwar that is aired on NDTV Imagine.

Fashion designer, Neeta Lulla is designing her wedding lehenga and choli which will have a traditional Rajasthani look in five different colors but Neeta has refused to disclose the cost of the dress.

Neeta says, “Rakhi told us she wants to look like a princess on her wedding day – something like she has never looked before. I have given her a very colourful ensemble – it’s a very conservative outfit.For her wedding day, Rakhi would be wearing a lehenga-choli in five different colours with ornate kundan work to give her an ethnic Rajasthani look.”

Rakhi's necklace for the wedding will be designed by Zayed Khan’s famous jewellery designer sister Farah Khan and will cost around Rs. 30 lakhs.

Farah says,”The choker that Rakhi will be wearing for her wedding day is very heavy. It looks very traditional and covers almost her entire neck.”

Rakhi is all set to marry the winner of this reality show in which the contestants hail from Delhi, Mumbai, Rishikesh, Jaipur, Kanpur and Toronto.

Rakhi wants tattoo on her name

Rakhi ka Swayamvar on NDTV Imagine is gearing many eye balls. It is fun to see of how far these remaining 13 contestants can go for their bride. Recently, two contestants were asked to prove their love by tattooing her name on their arms.
Rakhi was skeptical of two candidates on the show and consequently wanted Aamchi Mumbai’s Pranav Damle and Kripal Singh to undergo a tough testimony to prove their true feelings for her.

It struck Rakhi's mind that they have participated in Swayamvar only to gain fame and free publicity. To help Rakhi in the situation, Rakhi’s friend and guide on the show, Ram Kapoor came up with a brilliant idea to analyze these grooms.

He challenged both of them to get Rakhi’s name tattooed to prove their love for her. Kripal Singh backed out saying it will affect his future life in case Rakhi does not choose him, Pranav in order to prove his love and truthfulness towards Rakhi agreed to undergo the agonizin pain.

Rakhi Sawant would love to be an ideal wife

Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant has said that she would be love to be an ideal wife. Talking to the media in Mumbai, the outspoken actress said “I have all the qualities of an ideal wife.”

Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, which premiered on NDTV Imagine Monday, has 16 men wooing Rakhi at Udaipur’s Fateh Garh Palace. Talking about her dream, Rakhi says, “The Swayamvar will show the world the real me. Like any other girl even I have dreamt of a family, a loving husband and a caring mother-in-law.”

With ratings of 3.5 per cent in cable and satellite homes of the Hindi speaking market, Rakhi Ka Swayamvar is possibly the highest rated show in the recent history of NDTV Imagine.

“In the last 4-5 days, there was a huge wave of interest,” says Nikhil Madhok, vice-president, marketing at NDTV Imagine.

Sambhavna claims she's a better dancer than Rakhi

Bollywood item girl Sambhavna Seth claims she is a better dancer than the popular Rakhi Sawant. Sambhavna, who came to limelight with her dancing skills in 36 China Town, Sauda, Paagalpan and Kaafila, said she is a hundred percent better dancer than Rakhi Sawant.

Sambhavna claimed that Rakhi Sawant is having a good time that she is getting all good songs to perform on, but that doesn’t mean that she is a good dancer.

Citing example of the film Mudrank, on the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, in which both the item girls has one song each, Sambhavna said her performance has been appreciated more in the film than Rakhi Sawant.

The director of the film Shakir Sheikh confirmed her claim and said that her performance was superior to that of Rakhi Sawant’s and added that even Telgi, who was shown the movie in jail, had appreciated Sambhavna’s performance in her item number.

Nagpur boy to woo Rakhi

Ashwin Chaudhuri, 28, the Nagpur boy is among the 16 finalists who are ready to woo Rakhi Sawant through NDTV Imagine's reality show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar'. In an e-mail interview, Ashwin gets candid with NT about his feelings for the controversial gal, marriage and more.

Ashwin says, "I am very happy and excited about being one of finalists. I really hope that I stay long enough in the show, so that I can get a chance to spend some time with Rakhi and get to know her well."

"It's a dream come true for any aam adami to be able to know someone like Rakhi who is a celebrity. She is very beautiful and innocent. Her truthfulness and frankness attracted me to her and the show too."

Ashwin, who considers himself to be "the best match for Rakhi", frankly lists his merits that he thinks would certainly impress the Bollywood babe. He says, "I am frank, intelligent and god-fearing. Also, I am a very simple, understanding and responsible person. I think these qualities of mine will impress her."
